The Wind Farm/Wind Turbine maps are based on GPS data extracted up to July 2025 from projects published on the MASE portal.

For a few projects without GPS data and some existing wind farms, the locations were manually placed using map screenshots.

At present, our database includes 2,557 wind turbines, and unfortunately, some of them are already operational.

Two different layouts are available:

• "Wind Farms": Wind turbines are grouped by Project and displayed as a single circle. Individual turbines can be viewed by clicking on the circle or zooming into an area.

• "Wind Turbines": Individual turbine positions are loaded all together. Due to the large amount of data, a delay of a few seconds may occur.

Each wind turbine icon can be selected to view additional information such as project name, project ID, turbine model, and dimensions. A KML version of the map for Google Earth/Maps is available for download. Feel free to reach out via the contact form if you would like to help keeping our database up to date.
